From Labs to Life: PhD Journeys Unplugged
From coffee breaks to career tips, students explored the twists and turns of the PhD journey with those who’ve walked the path before them.
An article on the topic of machine learning for protein engineering, prepared for the journal ACS Catalysis of the American Chemical Association by Dr. Stanislav Mazurenko from our Loschmidt laboratories, was selected as amongst the 25 most influential articles in the 10 years journal history. The selection was made by the editors, who purposefully chose publications that go beyond the thematic boundaries of their field.
Congratulations on your extraordinary success!
In his successful publication “Machine Learning in Enzyme Engineering”, Dr. Mazurenko described data collection methods and, above all, the benefits of so-called high-throughput approaches, such as microfluidics, in which thousands of experiments are performed per second on a microdroplet forming device.
The co-authors of the article were Prof. Zbyněk Prokop and Prof. Jiří Damborský. You can find the whole article here.
